Critics Heap Praise on Bentley's Headlining Tour
NASHVILLE, TENN. -- (April 9, 2007) -- Award-winning Capitol Nashville singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley is taking his live show to Texas this month for a guest performance on the long running PBS concert series "Austin City Limits" on April 25. The show will air as part of Austin City Limits' 33rd season this Fall.
"It is amazing to look at the list of singer/songwriters who have been asked to play Austin City Limits; people like Rodney Crowell, John Prine and Emmylou Harris," said Bentley. "It is definitely an honor to be invited to Austin for this."
Bentley has been receiving rave reviews from music critics across the country and in Canada for his Bud-Light sponsored "Live & Loud" tour with openers Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Eric Church.

"Our stage is pretty basic, no video screens or flying apparatus or anything like that," said Bentley. "We have to be creative, whether it is pulling people up on stage or crowd surfing, we'll do what it takes to get them on their feet and singing back to us."
Other upcoming appearances for Bentley include a performance of his Top 10 single "Long Trip Alone" on the CMT Music Awards on April 16 and tour stops in Knoxville, Norfolk and Richmond this week.
